Chartering for a Special Group

We were fortunate to have a small group of vision impaired folks onboard last weekend. Three ladies and some of their four footed guides spent the weekend taking day sails during the day and relaxing at dock.

It’s interesting to see how their vision impairment made other senses so much stronger on the water. One of our guests was able to hear the dolphins before we even spotted them!

Motion can be problematic for folks without vision. But the catamaran, because it doesn’t heal the way a monohull does, made for a much more pleasant experience.

We enjoyed the sails as much as they did because we were able to see the ocean in a whole new way!
